If Virginia National was not so far from D.C., we'd play this every month. It's in great condition, and it's a fantastic location beside the Shenandoah River. Put it on your must play list if you haven't already, and be jealous of those golfers who live out that way!

The greens were in very good shape and were slightly faster than most -which was a good thing. Overall conditions were very good and I recommend playing here.

This course was recommended to me after I had had trouble finding somewhere for my group to play. Course was in great shape and was completely worth the greens fees ($80). Joined the email group to find out about deals to get back later in the fall.

Virginia National is in great shape, even considering the lack of rain we have had. On a very cool and cloudy August Monday, my twosome finished in just under 3 hours. The fairways were in 8/10 shape and the greens were in 9/10 shape. The only reason that I can't say they were 10/10 is because they didn't help my ball roll 4 more inches for my second ace of the season. All kidding aside, the course is in as good or better shape than the other courses I have played on this summer. As always, the par 3 14th was awesome!!! Go and visit Va Nat'l!!!!

Course was in great shape. The greens are very difficult, very fast and lots of breaks.

Very well marshalled and enforced for slow play. Slighlty overpriced;narrow layout due to terrain. Scenic views of Shenandoah River and valley.
