| One of the real joys of playing The Gauntlet is the superb zoysia fairways. If you're in the fairway, you really never have a bad lie. Greens were in fine shape, and the rough was thankfully not as penal as some others we've played this year. This is a different and very challenging track that we enjoy playing every year. Your performance off the tee will more than likely determine how well you play this course and, therefore, how much you enjoy it. Golf and gas index was $37 weekday(greens fee with cart was $29) carpooling from Arlington-golfers in Fredericksburg are fortunate to have such a fine and reasonably priced course to play. |
