| Hats off to Prince William County for taking Prince William Golf Course and making major improvements in course conditions. Although the funky "clubhouse" is still there, this course was in the best condition I have ever seen it...granted we had not played it for a number of years. This used to be a real dog track(dirt tees seemed to be all too common), but someone(s) has spent a lot of time and tender loving care on this course, the result being that the fairways are lush, the rough is up, and the greens are smooth and true. Gas and golf index soloing from Arlington was $35. Gas up in Gainesville and usually save a couple of bucks! |
